Here’s a summary of updates for Street Epistemology International:
Content Creator Gatherings Have Begun
A dozen people attended our first SE content creator gathering where attendees’ level of experience and interest was ascertained before coming up with a list of obstacles that keep people from generating content, leading to an exceptional discussion overall. These gatherings are a great resource for anyone who has considered creating SE-related content and just need that little extra boost of confidence. Our second SE content creator session is scheduled for 15 July 2022, which you can request more information about by emailing [email protected]. A summary of each meeting can be found here.
Website Consolidation
We recently merged the streetepistemologyinternational.org website into a new page called ‘SEI’ that is on the streetepistemology.com website. We’ll add more details about our board members to this page in the coming weeks. Having one site to manage instead of two should make things a bit easier on us from an administrative standpoint.
Board Members
I’m pleased to announce that Reid Nicewonder was voted in as President and Tim Dawson as Vice-President, each for another three-year term. We’ve also added two new board members and will announce their names after their provisional period expires. We’re always looking for individuals willing to assist us on various projects and committees, so if that’s of interest to you, please email us at [email protected].
On a personal note, I had a chance to meet up with a few friends in Los Angeles this past weekend where we set up a table in a park and conducted some SE talks. It was really nice to practice the approach and discuss SE with others who are as into it as I am.
