Autumn 2019 Street Epistemology International Fundraiser Update
While we fell short of our fundraising goal, we are grateful for the support we've received thus far and are looking to expand it.
1 November 2019
Our Autumn Fundraiser to kick-off Street Epistemology International fell short of our $10,000 goal, but we still managed to bring in $3,249.00. These funds will be used to establish our fledgling organization and place Street Epistemology in front of people who have never heard of the approach before.
My sincere thanks to everyone who helped promote this fundraiser and/or donated to it.
Many people used the fundraiser to schedule recurring donations to SEI via PayPal or Patreon, which will be useful in helping us plan future projects.
We also sent letters to several non-profit organizations to let them know that we exist, and have started to see some support roll in from those groups (more updates will follow shortly regarding those donations). We’re also looking into the grant writing process to see what kind of financial support we can generate there.
Thank you again for your support and putting your trust in Street Epistemology International. We have some exciting things planned and are eager to leave a positive impression on the world.
P.S. You can also find and support us on Amazon Smile (there are browser plug-ins to redirect you to smile.amazon.com if you enter their regular website URL), which is a great way to passively contribute to our efforts when you make a purchase there.
Best regards,
Anthony Magnabosco
